Ideas for
Christmas

Make cookies, breads, or other treats and go caroling to your neighbors to deliver the goodies

Help with a toy or food drive for a homeless shelter or for needy people in the area

Decorate your house with pictures of Christ and the Christmas story. Fill up the manger with "hay" (yellow and brown yarn or embroidery floss). For every good deed a family member does, he or she can put one piece of hay into the manger. You're preparing your home for Jesus to come.

Make a family newsletter. Let every member contribute to it with artwork, stories, recipes, poetry, etc. Send it out to family, especially those who are far away.
