Saturday Breakfast Training--between items, teach the lessons in the Young Women's handbook

Show a pretend leadership meeting and evaluate--good points and bad points

Practice putting together a meeting agenda

Delegate lessons to youth presidency members to present during meetings

Discuss elements of successful planning and successful activities

Make a calling tree and have the president report info through down to class members and back up to a leader

Encourage girls to pray for class members specifically

Encourage girls to read scriptures, noticing what good leaders do and feeling the spirit to understand what their class needs.

Plan with a purpose for ALL activities--gospel related

Try to have a song and definitely have a prayer for meetings

Learn about each girl as an individual and understand her needs
